Somatic Experiencing
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented approach to heal trauma and other stress related disorders. It is the life's work of Dr. Peter Levine. Dr. Levine developed SE based on his multidisciplinary study of psychology, biology, neuroscience, physiology, ethology, indigenous healing practices and medical biophysics. SE relieves the symptoms of trauma by releasing "traumatic shock" and restores regulation in the autonomic nervous system. Sometimes you can't think your way through trauma and system dysregulation. SE provides an approach to bring regulation back into your autonomic nervous system.

SE and biofeedback help regulate your autonomic nervous system, which provides you with more balance, focus and vitality. Pairing up SE and Biofeedback allows clients to see how their system reacts to stress as-is and after a treatment protocol.
